BOARD RULES.

REGISTERING
1) Please do not register unless you actually plan on being a part of the board. If you don't want to make a character, don't make a profile just to spam areas that are for members only.
2) Once registered, please change your name to be all in lowercase, first middle and last. Here is an example: haven kody monroe.
3) Have your application posted within two weeks of registering. If you fail to do so (without letting the admin know first), your account will be deleted.
4) Do not post ANYWHERE that isn't out of character until you have been accepted. You will know you are accepted when your character's name changes color. Until then, posting is not allowed!

MANNERS
5) The cbox is a very open place. It is an area of this board for nice talking and for communication. It is NOT for spamming. So, be kind to everyone when posting communications there. Anyone who does not follow this rule will recieve a warning.
6) Not everyone has been roleplaying for years. Be patient with those who are just starting out.
7) Everyone's characters are just people. They create these characters to have fun. If you do not like the character, that's fine. But don't take it out on the creator. They can't help if you hate the character, okay?

ROLEPLAYING
8) Respect falls in this category too. Be nice to your fellow RP-ers, please.
9) While patience is a virtue, don't keep people waiting for a long time for your replies. If you tell someone you will thread with them, reply in a timely fashion to keep everyone happy.
10) Though this is a very low post count, I would like all replies in character to be at least 150 words long. As I said, that's quite low so it would be nice to see longer posts than that. But at the same time I understand that not everyone has muse all the time. Nor has time or experience. So, I'm being lenient. Don't make me regret it.
11) Due to proboards restrictions, this site cannot be R-rated. Instead, we will make it PG-13. I will be enabling the profanity filter against "naughty" words, so you don't have to worry about that. But make sure that characters stay away from sex, okay? Sexual situations, sure. But no outright sex scenes. We don't want the board to be shut down.
12) Play-bys are a must. These are faces for characters, ie. the faces of celebrities.
13) Only one celebrity can be someone's play-by at a time. The ONLY exception for this is twins. Anything else needs to be preapproved by the admin, and she reserves the right to say no.

GRAPHICS
14) Be smart, okay? No nudity or illegal stuff in your graphics. Nothing overly sexy. Just keep it appropriate. The lowest age for proboards registration is thirteen, so keep that in mind.
15) Nothing should be larger than the width of the board itself. Graphics for avatars should be no larger than 100x100px. And signatures no larger than 650x650 please. As for posting random pictures for threads and fun, just please don't stretch the board. That doesn't look pretty.
