PERSONAL HISTORY: Nikolai was born on April 6th in Colorado to a young mother and father. His mother dubbed him Nikolai because of her love of Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace. When Nikolai was barely three months old, his father ditched and now he only hears of him through the child support he receives. His mother has no pictures of his father, and Nikolai never asks about him. To be honest, he no longer cares.
When Nik was four, his mother moved to Illinois, where they still live today. Seeing her son was lonely while Laura was working, she went out with her son to an animal shelter, where they picked out a white German Shepard pup, which ended up being named Leo. Two years later, they adopted an Australian cattle dog, which Nik named Riley.
Nik pretty much grew up in the town of Twin Valley, attending preschool to high school. As much as he loved the place growing up, now he is growing tired of the town, and wants to go away, perhaps back to Colorado for art school.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Craig wasn't sure why he had even come to school today. Nothing was going his way. Walking into school, he had tripped over one of the popular kid's bags, which resulted in being slammed up against a locker. In first period, he couldn't find his homework, and he knew he had done it the night before. At lunch, one of the jocks had bumped into him, sending his blue slushie all down his new white shirt. Now he was in study hall, staring out the window, hoping there was a way he could just disappear. Heaving a heavy sigh, he rested his chin on his hands, examining his fingernails. He chewed the tips, the dark paint chipping under his perfectly white teeth. His dark hair fell into his bright green eyes, and he blew a small breath towards the choppy fringe. He cast his eyes around the room, looking for any familiar faces. There was a boy across the room crouched over a paper, the pencil flying across his paper, apparently intent on his work. Craig's thin lips quirked into a small smile. He used to be like that; extremely intent on his work. But falling from the nerds to the outcasts changed Craig. It changed him for the worse.
